The story behind sortd

Built on a Monday night. Out of necessity.

I set up sortd because I couldn't find summer camps without trawling 14 WhatsApp groups, Instagram saves and spreadsheets that were already out of date. I'm a working mum to Ella and Finn, and I wanted to see everything in one place — so I built the thing that didn't exist. It started with camps in north Dublin, and now it's the family calendar I wanted too: classes, school days off and the summer plan, shared with the parents we do it all with. We're expanding county by county across Leinster. No VC money. No boardroom. Just a real problem, sorted.
